Save the date, as TOOL is preparing the Global 1.000 List of Female Founders of Ocean & Energy, pre-launching in Oslo before our main global launch during UN Ocean Conference, as a special tribute to the 60th Anniversary of Oslo´s maritime week.  Early confirmed prominent super stars across shipping & finance include: Elisabeth Grieg will be Godmother of this launch. 5th generation shipowner, and the first female President of Norwegian Shipowners Association, investor in TOOL and mentor of TOOL´s founder since 2011. Trailblazer and longterm advocate for diversity, sustainability and transparency. Marina Hadjipateras, GP and co-founder of VC firm TMV. With a family history in shipping through two centuries, Marina is among our role model next gens - building companies enabling the future, rooted on legacy and values from family business. Elin Kristensson, MD of Northern Offshore Services. N-O-S spans from generations of maritime family business, established to support the offshore wind sector. Elin is the President of Swedish Shipowners Association, and on the board of the neighbouring shipowners group - Danish Maritime. Agnes Arnadottir, Co-founder & CEO of BRIM Explorer. Owning and operating a fleet of 5 hybrid and fully electric passenger vessels serving cruise and coastal tourism. Sophie Galvagnon, Founder & CEO of Selar. Polar expedition shipping company, currently building the first of a planned serie of 8 Arctic luxury expedition vessels fueled by nature. Danielle Southcott, Founder & CEO of Veer Group. Boutique container vessels fueled by wind and green hydrogen, for the B-Corp segment. Soon ready to build their first 2 vessels. While we already have gathered an overview of 500+ female founders across our sectors, we are always super excited to help bring new names onto the radar - so feel free to nominate and tip us about female founders in your network. This event and TOOL´s activities 3-5 June are held in conjunction with the Nor-Shipping week, but not part of the official expo programme.
