Norway Grants & European Funding Programs
The EEA and Norway Grants are funded by Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein (Donor Countries) with two aims - reducing economic and social differences in Europe, and - strengthening bilateral relations with the 15 countries in Southern and Central Europe.
Innovation Norway is involved in programmes on Business Development, Innovation and SMEs, Energy, Environment and Social Dialogue – Decent Work across the 15 beneficiary countries.

Project on Green Industry Innovation, including Bioeconomy in Lithuania (and Norwegian partners): the Business Development, Innovation and SMEs Programme is looking for proposals that should focus on the introduction (application) of new technological solutions which would help, for example, to modernise production lines, encourage zero-waste manufacturing or re-use of waste at the same time contributing to reduction of CO2 emissions or energy consumption. Deadline: 08.06.2022
Projects on awareness raising, training and competence building on Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Energy Security in Romania (and Norwegian partners): A total budget of 3.000.000 euro under the Energy Programme, which aims at a less carbon-intensive energy and increased security of supply. Deadline: 30.06.2022 1 pm CEST.
Start-ups in Green Indutry Innovation, Blue Growth or ICT in Romania (donor countries as partners): A total of 3,584,738 euro is available for start-ups that would contribute to increased competitiveness for Romanian enterprises within the mntioned areas. Deadline: 14.07.2022 1 pm CEST.
Projects on Green Industry Innovation, Blue Growth or ICT in Greece (donor countries as partners): Under the Business Innovation Programme, approx 8,750,000 euros of funding are available for projects in these sectors, with the goal of stimulating bilateral project cooperation between enterprises in Greece and entities from the Donor States. Travel grants available. Deadline: 11.08.2022 12 noon CEST.
Projects that increase cooperation in the labour market, support social dialogue or strengthen decent work in Czech Republic or Norway: 261,600 euro available for projects that shall contribute to strengthened cooperation between employer organisations, trade unions and public authorities, preferably in close cooperation with Norwegian partners. Travel grants available. Deadline: 15.09.2022 12 noon CEST.
